Waiouru 2009
Outdoor Leaders courses Waiouru 09 went off really well. The staff arrived to be greeted with torrential rain followed by snow storms.
The day students arrived the weather miraculously cleared and remained sunny and warm for the whole course. As students left for their various homes the rain swept back in again.
Weather plays a significant part in the enjoyment factor on this course and both staff and students could not have asked for better.
To complement their experience the course training area was being traversed by Army LAV's on exercise so members got to see this equipment being used in serious exercise scenarios.
