Officer Courses

NZCF Officers have the opportunity to attend a number of courses during their service with NZ Cadet Forces.

The Commissioning course is compulsory and provides students with the basic skills to assist their Unit.  Other courses are skills related, such as the Outdoor Leaders course, and need to be completed if an officer wishes to take cadets into the bush.

Graduates of the Instructional Techniques course now gain an NZQA National Certificate in Adult Education and Training at level 4
